Adriana Gasiewski

Hi, I'm Adriana Gasiewski, a recent Kent State University journalism graduate, with a minor in Italian, and a freelance journalist. I always have enjoyed telling stories and coupled with my love for writing, I was drawn to journalism. During my time at Kent State, I have taken advantage of the university's student media program writing for The Kent Stater; the university's student-run, independent newspaper, A Magazine; the university's fashion magazine, and The Burr Magazine; the university's general interest and student-life focused magazine. After graduating in December 2025, I worked at the Cleveland Jewish Public Company for four months, before taking the leap fully into the freelance journalism world. From these experiences, I have learned how to meet tight deadlines, conduct interviews with diverse sources and learned how to incorporate research into my articles.
